Our dream started 15 years ago, when we would come to The South of France every year for the month of September. We would often rent an apartment in Villefranche Sur Mer, and we commented that we could offer so much more ( a home away from home) if we purchased a property and rented it out on the short term rental market. So in 2004 we started in earnest looking for the ideal French home away from home.

We fell in love with Villa Clara after looking at hundreds of properties over a 2 year period (yes we travelled more than just once a year…actually up to 4 trips a year!) In December 2005 our dream became a reality, and we became the proud owners of Villa Clara. Living in New Zealand we can really only holiday here during our long summer break in December and January, which leaves us to share with our guests the best of the Villa and the weather in our peak rental months of June, July, August, September. Every now and again when there is a gap we run away and enjoy the sun!
